In the depths of my soul, a storm does brew,
An ache for a world I once knew.
Where skies were clear, and air was pure,
Now tainted by a burden we must endure.
Oh climate, wounded and scarred,
Your cries echo through the earth so marred.
Once gentle breezes turn into gales,
As nature weeps, her sorrow prevails.
The sun's fierce rays, a scorching blaze,
Melting glaciers in a desperate haze.
Rivers shrink, their currents weakened,
Leaving barren lands, forsaken and stricken.
Majestic forests, once teeming with life,
Now stand as silent witnesses to strife.
With each fallen tree, a tear is shed,
As habitats vanish, their inhabitants fled.
Oh climate, can't you feel our pain,
As we witness the loss, the relentless strain?
Our hearts are heavy, burdened with grief,
For the future we face, unsure and brief.
Yet amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope,
As voices rise, refusing to cope.
Together we stand, hand in hand,
To heal the wounds of this fragile land.
Let's mend our ways, embrace the change,
Seek harmony with nature, rearrange.
For in our hands lies the power to restore,
To protect what's left, and so much more.
Oh climate, hear our plea, our plea so true,
To preserve this world, for me and you.
May empathy guide us, as we move ahead,
With love for our planet, let our actions spread.
For the time is now, to heal and restore,
To leave a legacy worth fighting for.
With passion and unity, we shall ignite,
A future where the climate can truly thrive.
