Nature's Solace: Finding Peace in the Forest

A poem about a troubled soul escaping from reality and discovering peace in nature.

By Raine Carlisle Published 3 years ago 1 min read

In the stillness of the forest's heart,

Amidst the leaves and trees apart,

A soul found solace in nature's art,

And peace embraced the weary heart.

The rustling of leaves, the songs of birds,

The gentle breeze, the soothing words,

All nature's sounds and sights unfurled,

A melody that healed the troubled world.

The earthy scent of the dampened ground,

The soft caress of the sunlight around,

The colors of life, the beauty profound,

All nature's gifts in harmony abound.

The worries of the world now fade away,

As the soul finds peace in the nature's sway,

And in the tranquil beauty of the day,

The heart finds rest, the mind at bay.

For nature's peace is a gentle balm,

A healing force, a soothing calm,

And in its embrace, the troubled soul finds,

A sense of peace that forever binds.
