Nature’s Portrait

Sand and sea go paint for me. The Lady Of The Sea

Nature’s Portrait

In the gentle hush where sea meets sand,

A lady’s face by nature’s hand.

Her eyes reflect the ocean’s hue,

A tranquil gaze, a peaceful view.

Her lips are kissed by morning’s light,

Her nose the curve of dunes so slight.

Beyond, the bushes softly sway,

A pastel dream where colors play.

The sea whispers secrets in her eyes,

The sand molds her gentle guise.

In this serene and silent grace,

Nature has drawn her perfect face.

An absolute gem, Marie. Loved it. The imagery is amazing and the words are so poetic. I really liked: "Her lips are kissed by morning’s light, Her nose the curve of dunes so slight." What an image. This is worthy of a Top story, even if you don't get one. I think it is a fantastic poem.
