Nature’s Call.
The rawness of God’s creativity speaks to me…..

Driving along Huddersfield Road,
six hours from Manchester to uni,
with each commute back and forth.
The bus ride becomes my sanctuary.
As we pass through the countryside,
the streams, hills, and trees outside the window draw me in.
Everything is calm,
and the rawness of God’s creativity speaks to me.
______
Nature speaks in whispers,
a call too pure for the noise around us.
Collected deep in its place specfially for its kind.
It holds the hands of the creator,
letting Him shine through every branch,
every leaf,
every mountain that stands still through the seasons.
They tire, but they wait—
the light will come again,
restoring them,
making them whole.
_____
I envy the flowers,
rooted in peace,
dancing with the breeze,
never asking for more.
I wonder,
are they happy?
Do they know how beautiful they are,
just letting God take care of them…
_______
I wish I could be like that.
To wake up among the trees,
the valleys,
the mountains,
living in the breath of creation.
That’s where life truly is, isn’t it?
That’s where beauty is found,
not in the things we build with prideful hands,
not in the chaos we call progress.
______
I think I’d want my grave there,
somewhere among the roots and soil,
closer to the source of everything.
I’d feel connected,
even in death,
more connected than I ever was
in this world we’ve made.
This world—
so far from the beauty it was meant to hold,
everything pulled away,
stretched too thin,
all our innovations pulling us farther from Him.
______
And we wonder why we feel lost,
Bound by sadness, chasing fleeting dreams.
Nature, replaced by innovations we thought would bring peace,
Yet our true joy lies in the subtleties we’ve left behind—
Abandoned, while we pursue a fleeting dream,
Forgetting the gift of joy in nature’s gleam.

I’m so glad you are here!
