At the edge of warmth and ice’s reign,

Where liquid life begins to strain,

The freezing point, a threshold stark,

A silent shift from bright to dark.

Molecules in gentle, slowing dance,

Embrace the cold, a crystal trance,

From fluid grace to solid form,

An icy grip, a frozen norm.

A hushed transition, soft and still,

As nature bends to winter’s will.

Yet in this frost, a fragile strength,

A beauty found at freezing’s length,

A delicate, enduring might,

Where ice and stillness reunite.

At freezing point, where change occurs,

A quiet power in the cold transfers,
