Finally, I’ve belonged to nature,

Where I’m shut out,

From the ills of the world,

The pains and the hurts,

That come from the ones,

That claim to love.

Where I find myself,

And the real me,

Comes into existence.

Where I can express myself freely,

In paper and ink,

In art or in melodies.

Where I can see reality,

And not being trapped in idealism,

Where delusion can’t get it’s grip on me.

Where the raindrops,

Gradually incorporates my tears,

And the dark clouds remind me:

“Happiness is but for a short time.”

Where the plants show me:

“You can be beautiful,

Even in the worst situations.”

And the winds whisper:

“You will be just fine,

“Enjoy the moment while it lasts.”

Oh!

How I love the company of the trees,

The grasses,

the thunderclouds,

the wet ground,

the sweet smell of rain,

the calming effect of the raindrops on my skin………

Nature is indeed man’s friend;

My friend.
