Nature Haiku Compilation

Shyam Anand

By Shyam AnandPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Sunrise on the hills,

Golden light spills through the trees,

Dawn's quiet beauty.

In the still of night,

Moonlight bathes the sleeping earth,

Softly, she slumbers.

Spring rain gently falls,

Drops like tears from heaven's eyes,

Nurturing new life.

Autumn leaves flutter,

Crisp and colorful dance floor,

Nature's symphony.

Winter's icy grip,

Frosty fingers on the land,

Whispers of the cold.

Cherry blossoms bloom,

Delicate and fleeting grace,

A moment of joy.

Nature's poetry,

Endless beauty to behold,

Life's symphony plays.

(But when I thought up the lines for THIS particular haiku, I really felt a connection to the world that I had left behind. A place where I had soared as free as a migrating bird over the oceans. But now, I realise the importance of it.)

Take a look:

Birds take to the sky,

Soaring on the wind's embrace,

Freedom's sweetest gift.
