The boy I love forgets to love me back.

I don’t know if this means

I am easy to forget.

I wonder what it would be like

To be loved to the point of breaking.

Do you ever want to

Cry with pure adoration

When you look at me?

The boy I love has the sweetest face,

And I thank the God I don’t believe in

For showing me grace and mercy exist.

It’s rare I’m left speechless,

But he leaves me breathless.

I love him so entirely

And it rages through me destructively

Until I wonder if love is supposed to maim.

The boy I love doesn’t remember his name.

It started with an A, M, J, R, C and N.

He doesn’t know

So I don’t know

His name

Is something like please because

He’s never been loved enough.
