Omggg, this was soooo relatable! Like seriously, lol. I don't think it's mad stupid but it's brilliant!

I know this is gonna seem mad stupid to everybody else, but if we're allowed to have favorites of our own poems, this might be mine. It's definitely self-satirizing because I've been here before. I try not to be shallow but, there've been too many times where I get a huge rush of "Love at first sight" attraction to someone I've only just met for the first time, then later I see a red flag or my mood just changes and whatever crazy, stupid level of infatuation I felt for her just disappears. There one minute and then poof-- gone! The challenge asks for "romantic, platonic, or self-love". This poem might be stretching that too much-- the only love here is brief flash of infatuation. Obsessive love, unsustainable.
