A neon sign flashing
Open me! Open me!
My inner self tells me to stay away.
Fear lies beneath.
Neon light is so gorgeous, Fun
Radiates off this light.
Now feeling like a child, waiting to unravel the mystery.
That lies beneath my feet.
The basement is calling me,
Inner self, starting to yell, stay away it will feel like hell.
What does this mean? no really this can not be.
The Neon light flashing stops, still lit up for me to see.
The basement door begins to open, now a sign
That says follow me! I can feel what is awaiting beneath.
The second, the Door opened.
Hesitation growing stronger, inner self now screaming.
My mind almost froze, and now feeling like I am beginning to float.
Now standing on the first step.
Door slams behind me.
Fear starts to creep.
First, second, third step I continue down
Even though my inner self screams no!
Basement, it’s not just a basement.
I start to find homes, doors galore.
Everywhere, I look mysterious grows more intense.
First door leads to a second than a third.
As too being secret hideaways.
Deeper I go, Evil I can feel so intense.
Need an escape, where do I go?
Through a door familiar it seems.
Pictures hanging on the walls of the ones I once knew.
What does this mean?
My baby lies in front of the t.v.
Watching herself how could this be?
Swiftly scooping her into my arms gonna run and be free.
A door burst open to stop us from being released.
A man who had no face was red from head to toe.
No mouth, No eyes, No face on his head.
Throwing us Back a bed we land on.
Scream! Scream loud my inner self burst out.
Kicking, I start to protect us.
No good, I am too weak to get us free.
Running up behind this red man
Our knight and shining Armour.
Too release us from this red man of fear.
With his arrival too, save and protect us.
The red man ran with fear.
As quickly as he came, quickly he ran away.
