My Younger Brother: The Little Hurricane with a Heart
A playful yet heartfelt tribute to the chaos, charm, and love of a younger brother.
My Younger Brother: The Little Hurricane with a Heart
He came in like a thunderclap,
Tiny fists, no time to nap.
From Lego wars to broken plates,
He’s chaos... but the kind that waits.
He stole my toys, he bit my hand,
He drew on walls with a master plan.
Yet every scream and messy feat—
Somehow made life feel complete.
He’d snitch on me and run away,
Then cry and beg me not to say.
He’d hide my snacks, my charger too—
And act like “Oops, I never knew!”
He danced like no one paid the bill,
Screamed at ants like they could kill.
But when I fell or lost my way,
His silly jokes would save my day.
He asked the questions no one dared:
“Do clouds have butts?” (I was unprepared.)
He’d copy me in every pose,
From gaming tricks to how I froze.
We’d fight like lions over space,
Then laugh till tears rolled down our face.
He’d mimic all my angry tones,
Then hug me when I felt alone.
He’s growing up now—less of a mess,
But still a walking game of chess.
With brighter thoughts and deeper talks,
And sneaker dreams on noisy walks.
He’ll always be the wildcard pick,
Part genius and part sidekick.
The heart that hums behind my day,
My backup plan when skies go grey.
So here’s to you, my mini-me,
My pain, my pride, my family tree.
You drive me mad, you make me proud,
You're every quiet thought out loud.
And if the world should push me down,
I’ll call you up—my circus clown.
You’ll crack a joke or start a dance,
Then disappear without a glance.
But I’ll know that I’m not alone,
With you, this house will always feel like home.
