Don't give up, change strategy

Few years ago,
as lockdown was starting,
I started a YouTube channel.
So many thrilling things,
happening in my life,
first baby, a new house,
a developing garden,
strings of art projects,
a stunning neighborhood,
so many opportunities,
to showcase.
To that no job,
so of course,
some earning from home,
would be nice.
So I thought:
why not make videos?
I created a few,
lots of work:
recording, editing,
but support was rare,
a content creator's nightmare.
No human can go long
without some reward,
for their labor.
I couldn’t continue,
it remained abandoned.
After a four-year gap,
a few months back,
I tried to breathe life,
into the channel yet again.
I created shorts,
shared links,
across the platforms,
I write and engage,
No, I didn’t go viral,
no massive following,
but subscriber count rose,
from 15 to 135,
all through ethical,
organic means.
Above all, it’s hope,
that people are beginning,
to see and accept.
I learned my lesson:
not to boycott an initiative,
even if,
responses are lukewarm.
Instead,
I should change strategy
until I see,
an upward trajectory.
I hope this inspires,
someone out there.

I'm glad you decided to come back to it. I hope you get more views and subscribers!
Something I've learnt on my writing journey is never give up. We get little results and they will keep growing.
