Here's to me!

My Valentine
Photo by Edge2Edge Media on Unsplash

I sit in a darkened room.

Valentine’s Day approaches,

And I am alone.

Who loves me?

Who do I love?

Who will be my Valentine?

I buy

A solitary bottle of wine.

I will drink to myself.

I will love myself.

I will glory

In my aloneness.

Here’s to me.

This is the ultimate vibe—Valentine’s Day? Nah, it’s Me Day with wine on the side! Who needs Cupid when you’ve got self-love and a glass to toast yourself? Absolute legend move. Cheers to you!
