I sit in a darkened room.
Valentine’s Day approaches,
And I am alone.
Who loves me?
Who do I love?
Who will be my Valentine?
I buy
A solitary bottle of wine.
I will drink to myself.
I will love myself.
I will glory
In my aloneness.
