The chapters turned some earnest in their lively adventures, others brooding in their grounding storm. But still, I continued flipping to the next page – there was always this tiny sparkle in me, an inkling that the next chapter would perhaps be the most enchanting one.

I longed for an embrace, but something slammed a heavy page shut on my heart. The scale of the betrayal still smarted, but I was not going to give it the chance to change my narrative.

I let go of the resentment or simply forgot that the feelings were even: horizontal but their soul, my core, stayed mine.

Life was also not a play amongst them, and it was rather more like fiction books where the reader had to choose the endings. I am able to transform the lives of others by being the person that I am today someone else’s future could be bright tomorrow.

It took courage to move on; courage at a time when one moves despite the shaking legs that are caused by fear.

I gazed at the huge starry sky above and I came to consciousness that I was not just a line among other lines in this great scriptural prose. I merged with the twinkling stars and endless ocean and became just a speck on the surface of the globe so minute and yet, so perfect for the world’s harmony.

I was destined for something great and for that, I would create destiny and pen down a wonderful ending for myself.

Be brave. Be myself. I found that I highlighted these words in the script of my life. I grew up with a personal understanding of the fact that no one had the right to pull out the pages and redraw my fate.
