MY UNSUNG HERO

Today is not your birthday,

Today is just a day like any other,

It is not special day,

But I would like to celebrate you because you are special everyday,

For you have been my unsung hero since day one.

If anyone asks me to show them a tangible love,

I would definitely come and raise your hand so high,

Because your spring of love for me never runs dry,

Though you rarely/never mention it,

It's so evident in your actions.

I thank who chose you for me,

And even if He gave me a chance to choose for myself I would still choose you,

I would choose you because to me you are simply the best,

The best because you never lost interest even when I left,

When I left thinking that you are the worst.

Of all the gifts I have received from you,

There are those that I value most;

Family- a set of precious gifts that can't be replaced or bought,

Mother- the best woman I have ever met and seen in this world,

Brothers and sisters- the first friends I made whom I have known all my life,

Home - a place I feel free and where I am reborn and re-energized every time I visit.

I am your proud heir,

I have inherited physique and masculinity,

I have inherited your bravery and courage to face life,

I have inherited your laughter, kindness and your love for humanity,

I have inherited your love and dedication to a family,

I have inherited not just knowledge but also wisdom and humility,

I have inherited your leadership skills and love for

And that's enough for me.

I may not have too much to show my appreciation,

This words won't match the gratefulness in my heart,

But I am gonna try my best make you proud of a son that you raised,

I will pass this great values to the world and to the kids that I will raise,
