My Tummy Is a Dinosaur

Big Lizards in Search of Food

My tummy is a dinosaur;

I feel it growl, I hear it roar.

I know it's time to feed the beast,

Perhaps a snack for now at least.

It will tide me over, sure,

But soon returns that classic roar.

Will I ever satiate the dino?

Beats me, I dunno.

I feed it items from the store,

But it's never enough, it always wants more.

Searching through the treetop leaves,

I eat and eat but just feel teased.

A dino’s hunger never fades,

Just lies dormant while he plays.

I wish I could have enough to eat,

Whether it be plant-based or meat,

It would be a welcome treat.

But, for now, my tummy is a dinosaur,

I feel it growl and hear it roar.
