my true colors

they say blues is troubles - this is a poem about me

By Karen DPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

my true colors are found

in the crisp blue-white light

glowing from the phone in my hand

the pixels

small dots of compounds

surrounded by a black mask

with a ping and a rattle it vibrates

and they take form in word and sound

and pictures so real can I feel you in my mind

they say blues is troubles, but this crisp blue-white light

lights up my life and flutters my heart

bring us together at the edge of thought and space and time

it’s where you and me intersect

my true colors are found in the crisp blue-white light
