They say I got my own style.

I say it's because I been crawling for miles.

Life's ups and downs has made me so versatile.

And taught me how to use my mistakes like a file.

I know the way that I write is not really ideal.

So I just write what I want and however I feel.

And with nothing to lose everything I write is for real.

If there's anything left ya'll can just send me a bill.

I'm broke but l know how to bend.

And I've learned that trust is earned so I ain't got but one friend.

I write every poemsic on my phone so I don't have to pay for a pen.

And I have no room for drama so when it comes my way I mark it return to sender and then send.

I write rhymes that flow like a river.

Carrying the words that I want to deliver.

Guess you can say that Lil Gary's a giver.

Filtering life's hard times with my writing just like a damn liver.

So I hope I'll be around for a while.

And I hope everyday I can share my big smile.

Waiting on the day a publisher will get my number and dial.
