My Pink Flowers I implore you
a poem of request to my loves

I need you to let me...
Let me be the me I want to be so I can love the real you, I implore thee.
Let my hair grow long, so you can brush it with your fingers.
Let my eyes look upon you long, so you can blush at my admiration.
Let my body be the apple of your eye, so that it can be everything you need.
Let my voice, be the music to fill the room when the music is failing to reach.
Let me play the piano for you, and read my repetitious poems and songs.
Let me write another story so that you can read along.
Let me hear your laughter at another old joke I tell.
Let me be the fragrance that you enjoy to smell.
My pink flowers, I implore you,
Let me be me, so I can love you for you.
