Black is my preference.
White is my assignment.
Never colorless,
With my kaleidoscope narrative.
Packing my black luggage,
feeling gray,
with the huge baggage,
thinking I want to stay.
A week away from my folks,
to be with the victims,
to provide hope,
and to alleviate symptoms.
Packing my white livery,
feeling blue,
like the deep ocean,
thinking without a clue.
Arriving like gladiator,
Fully armored,
with a helping hand
and a heart of gold
Weak, sad faces awaits,
with light green tubes, connected to their noses.
Providing what they needed,
while lying flat on their faces.
The white suit? it's not breathable,
The Kn95 mask? it's suffocating too.
No I’m not complaining,
I love this job too.
Covering my whole body,
from head to toe.
Wiht blue gloves,
and blue cover shoe.
Showering from sweat all day,
feeling hot.
Thingking to remove the barrier,
sorry not.
Hearing their warm thank you's,
like an orange yellow sunset hue.
Life will get better and beautiful,
like a rainbow view.
