💫 My Painting

Black is the shadow

I painted my night

Despair that creeps in

I struggle to fight

and when it comes back

I turn on the light

Blue is the tint

I painted my sky

Tears that filled my eyes

Turn into rain

Pouring out the sorrow

When I am in pain

Red is the pigment

I painted my flowers

Stained by the strands

Of my brush that bleeds

Dripping with passion

Full of Mixed emotions

White is the color

I painted my soul

To be clean and pure

For my creator to behold

But my dirty hands smeared it

And turned it into gray

Green is the shade

I painted my leaves

Springs from the branches

Of my wisdom tree

With hope to filter pollution

For others to breathe

Yellow is the hue

I painted my sun

Smiles that are radiant

Make the day bright and fun

Hoping to spread like rays

Until the day is gone

The painting of my life

Every stroke imprints

True colors of me

For life is an art

Whose elegance is its significance

It is an abstract of reality
