My Other Half
A poem of appreciation for every part of me.

She’d a smile built for devastation.
Her eyes reflected the worlds’ tragedies.
Glue saturated her facade’s fractures.
She fortified her heart with detritus.
In solitude I lend her my ear.
With the sun’s rise we embrace.
When I look now into the glass
I remember that I wear her face.
