Let me tell you about my mother

She is one of a kind

She’s not like any other

Because this one is mine

She’s a little bit sassy

And a lotta bit weird

But not in a bad way

Like she needs to be feared

She is kind and understanding

And just downright beautiful

She is funny and loving

And so very wonderful

My mother is strong

Completely inspiring

Her words like a song

Always encouraging

That is my mother

I swear that it’s true

Ask my sister and brother

And they’ll say so too

love poems
