My Morning Moon

Moon/Sun Obsession

By Juliann CallowayPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

She falls apart at the seams the moment she awakens.

I've become addicted to her bouts of randomness.

She has become contagious in my mind.

Like a heartbeat that never stops

The clock continues to tick-tock.

Laying around for the breath of her sweet softness.

Her skin glows like the sun.

She's kissing the wind with her breath then floats away from me in the morning moon light.

She is all around me now.

Like the salt sands that stick to her twinkling feet, she leaves me feeling complete.

I left her long ago as she weathered away into the shadows.

I watch her from the distance now

In hopes to see her again in my dreams.

Just like the sparks that we had forever

We will live forever yet not together.

She will always be my obsession burning blazing fire.
