My mom has special magic
That's gentle, kind, and true.
It's in the morning pancakes
She makes me, just for two.
It's in the way she fixes things -
A toy, a hurt, a fear.
She wipes away my teardrops
And makes my vision clear.
Her magic's in the bedtime songs
She softly sings to me,
And how she knows exactly what
I need her love to be.
It's not a trick with wands or spells,
It's stronger and it's deeper.
It's how her love's a cozy place,
A gentle, steady keeper.
So when I'm big, I'll always know
And surely not forget,
The greatest magic in the world
Is my own mom, you bet!
