My love

You took your love away from me

Damned me to the abyss

You stole my trust so carelessly

But know you’ve left me this

I found my strength, I found my voice

I found that my love resides

Inside the heart that beats in me

I’ve rescued my fierce pride.

Very moving poem-- i love how you took hardship from a feeling of defeat to victory-- one door closed and a better one opened. Nicely crafted
