To my future wife
Quality time is my love language
Gifts mean nothing to me
I don’t care for being told I’m great
Acts of service are nice
And touch is sweet
But time is what I hold dear
Just being, existing
I want to be on time
I patiently wait for a time
I do not want to waste time
I want to be present in time
I value the existence of time
I know that it all ends in due time
So understand that we just need to exist
If it’s the same for you then I’d never leave
If it’s gifts, I’ll be thoughtful and give you the world
If words then I’ll write poems and leave you notes
If service then I will serve as Christ did
If touch then I will never let go
Just be kind to my time
There is a limit and I wish not to waste it
About the Creator
Robbie Nagle
Hey there. Welcome to my page. I have recently started walking out the path to writing my first novel. To allow myself other creative outlets, I’ll be using this to post some poetry and short stories that may or may not be in future novels.
