My Life in a Nutshell Through Poetry
Thank goodness it’s Friday

Today is Friday
Thank goodness for that
That means I'm off tomorrow
And I get to see my niece Alex
The cutest 3 year old
She makes my heart smile
I look forward to Saturdays
I only have to drive a mile
Wish I was off 2 days a week
Instead of one
Unfortunately, working in my field
A lot of work has to be done

Autism doesn't turn on and off
Like a tv
The kids that I work with
Love and need me
I'm fortunate to have chosen my field
I wouldn't change it for anything
Being a job coach for autistic adults
Has changed my life more than anything

Working with my children on the spectrum on Sundays
Is the best part of what I do
Watching the children grow and progress
Is such an honor for me to do
I have a busy life
But I manage my time wisely
I like keeping busy
And definitely being timely

Night time is me time
And that's when I write my poems
It gives me satisfaction
And calms and enriches my soul
On occasion, I go out to spend time with friends
And get some frustrations out
Otherwise I get lucky
And get on instagram and bug my friend Nicole the heck out
I truly have a wonderful life
I couldn't ask for anything more
I have the best wife, best family and friends
What more can a woman ask for.
