Did I pick up the pen to write today?
Instead choosing to rest my mind at bay
Staring at nothing on the daily train
Tiering daily in summer Hong Kong rain
Rationalising ideas again
Another day where they all disappear
Contemplating if life is but a smear
The smear of life and cash over something
If but talent, a hobby or nothing
Only can I with a time transaction
Never ending tale, my life distraction
