My last day of teaching

What a day of teaching looks like

My last day of teaching

Today is my last observation with lots of contemplation

Lesson started steady and I was prepared and ready

Learners started sketching their thumbnails

With joyous wails

Practical work is a favourite in this class

No one would take a pass

My delivery was clear and professional

The activities were sensational

A learner became upset

their emotions became a threat

I alerted the progression coach

She had just the right approach

The learner was given a choice

Encouraged to use their voice

Her mother came to collect them

Reassured them it was not a problem

The lesson concluded

extreme upset was eluded

I managed this well

I felt my skills were parallel

All students left content

I gave one-hundred percent

Context: So this was my last day of teaching a trainee, I am now a qualified teacher so I will be teaching again but this was a big turning point for me, that I had finished my course.
