I wrote a poem about what home means to me, and things that I have been grateful for
What are the things about home?
Why is home so important?
What are your thoughts?
I have a lot of things that I should always be grateful for in my home.
Somewhere I have to keep myself warm
With a soft blanket.
Somewhere I have to rest after a long day
With my nice bed.
Somewhere I have to keep myself comfortable
On a comfy couch.
Somewhere I have to get myself clean
In the shower or a bathtub.
Somewhere it's when I have my sweet cat to keep me cuddled while snuggling.
Somewhere that I have to keep myself more independent.
Somewhere that I can do some housework by myself or help my family.
Somewhere that I could play around the yard with my family.
Somewhere that my family can cook out our meals day and night.
Somewhere that my family and I can share our stories.
Somewhere it can warm my heart, mind, and soul.
