My Heatwave Solutions
If I had a swimming pool,
I’d live on a floating thingymabob,
Eat, sleep, drift, no fuss, no rules,
Just bobbing slow, a gentle job.
Sun above, water below,
Time stretched thin, a quiet flow,
No need for walls or hurried pace,
Just endless calm, a soft embrace.
It’s 27 degrees,
feels like a thousand to me,
I’m hot and need to cool,
so I’d sink into that floating pool.
Stay there all day
till Mother Nature took this heat away.
I need the winter,
the one I moaned about being too cold,
I need to shiver,
the hot tomato look
doesn’t suit me at all.
I’m moving to Iceland,
no, not the country,
the shop,
as a frozen foods manager, lol.

Lol this was fun! It's winter here in Australia and I'm dreaming of summer!
Good one and perfect for a very hot day.
Haha I love this! That “thingymabob” sounds perfect right now — I’m melting too! 😅
