Shimmering wonder that you are,
High above, where stars are gazed.
Indescribable splendour here,
Nothing distracts from ember wings.
Illuminating presence, you have on me,
No darkness or sadness can cease the fire burn.
Golden, glistening, white light that shines,
Lamp that likes to watch and flicker.
Interstellar lights that glow,
Glimmer of hope across the night.
Hanging on to that spark that gleams,
Tomorrow I’ll dream about radiant light beams.
Stay close to my beating heart,
Here and always evermore.
In darkness and in fear,
Never leave me standing there,
Everywhere a glimmering light.
Strong is what you are.
