My Goose

A letter for you

By John ParksPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

Every time I see you my heart skips a beat.

Just like the first time when we met when your eyes started glistening.

It's crazy, but maybe I'll never understand exactly what you did to me.

But, that's okay, because I know our love will go down in history.

When we parted it was hard because I could feel from afar that you were missing me.

Trust me, because every night I laid awake, just listening, waiting for God to return my angel that he had once given me.

Then one day my phone rang and I thought there was no way you had messaged me.

But, it was you, my Goose, coming back to where we made our past dissipate.

Coming back to our future of love and kisses and grapes.

Loving that we had each other back and it was enough, in fact, that we fell in love and then we became so attached that we could tell the world to watch their backs because they've never seen two people so happy in love and taken care of that they'd be jealous and that's a fact.

My darling Goose, it's only you.

It's only been you since the day we met and I promise to take care of you and be your protector until we're dead, when you're resting your head on my chest in our home in our bed, when we know that this is the just the beginning and the best is yet to come and then...

I.F.L.Y.

P.S. I know it's a slow start, but I know we'll try so hard to see the future and go far as Mr. and Mrs. John Parks.

P.S.S. And of course your kids will be in both our hearts.

P.S.S.S. And your kitty is still a stupid kitty.
