My Gift

I may not be as great as I say I am

But that does not stop me from being great.

All those who have known me

All know that it was my fate

To be greater than the common man.

One does not simply want to be

Just adequate.

Everyone can see

I’m better than that.

Who dares try and test

Me. I know

I am the best

At everything you cannot do.

I guess I have a certain quality

Nobody else has.

Even authority

Tremble when in my presence.

As I said, I have a gift.

Sit in silence
