My first crush

In the garden of my heart

In the garden of my heart, a flower did bloom,
A crush so sweet, dispelling all gloom.
Innocent glances, heart aflutter with glee,
My first love, a melody in the key of me.

Your smile, a sunbeam on a cloudy day,
In your presence, all worries would sway.
I traced your steps, like a shadow so near,
Hoping you'd notice, my feelings sincere.

Butterflies danced in my stomach's embrace,
Every word you spoke, a symphony of grace.
I memorized your laugh, your every sigh,
A portrait of love painted in the sky.

Oh, first crush, a bittersweet delight,
A journey of emotions, day and night.
Though fleeting and fragile, like a delicate rose,
In my heart, your memory forever glows.
