I cover my face

to protect my modesty.

You wear a mask

to protect yourself from the virus.

So, what's the issue?

The face veil is banned

in many European countries.

But, today the same countries ask you to wear a mask,

why?

Why is my covering

a problem.

But your face mask, face shield, and PPE, not?

I wear my covering to protect me from

lecherous men, lustful gazes, and evil intent.

I choose to wear my veil,

while you are forced to wear your mask!

I am not inciting unrest.

I mind my own business.

I feed the poor,

visit the sick,

and give charity.

I'm a good citizen.

Why does this threaten you?

Let this pandemic open your eyes

To the fact

That

Your mask is no different

To my veil.

But you wear it out of fear

While I wear mine out of love.

Live your best life

and allow me to live mine.

I am not a threat.

The threat lies in the politicians;

racists, and bigots

Who divide humanity

To rule.

Our power lies in unity.
