MY CIRCLE OF FRIENDS

The beautiful ladies, that I call my friends

Make my heart happy, whenever I see them

Some, I have known, for a VERY long time

Some – not as long … and that’s perfectly fine

All … are talented … and some … are gifted

We come together, and our spirits are lifted

Some own a business … some work for others

We all LOVE to talk … and are animal lovers

Just talking with them, always makes me feel better

I’ll be really ecstatic, when we can all be together

We love to drink coffee … we love to drink wine

During the lockdown … we all chat online

We encourage each other, we lift each other up

When we finish our coffee … we have another cup !

Some … are mums … some … are grandmothers

… some have fur-babies … some have sisters and brothers

We don’t need to wear make-up … or wear special clothes

We all love Op-shopping – for bargains, you know

We chat about work, and family, and stuff

And help each other stay positive, when times are tough

Because they are with me, whatever I do

I wanted, to write them, a poem … to say THANK YOU
