My Chrisrmas Walk

We merrily walk the avenue, looking at store displays,

With twinkling lights and ribbons bright, our hearts are set ablaze.

Each window tells a story, a world where dreams take flight,

Dancing dolls and carousels, wrapped in soft, warm light.

My favorite is the Christmas Train on an endless track, and I watch as IT travels an invisible map

As the snowflakes dance outside, its lights glowing bright and mellow.

The teddy bears are tucked in bed, while the Nutcrackers stand tall,

and the dolls twirl in their dresses, as they decorate the store window in Christmas red

The scent of cocoa fills the air, mingling with the snow,

As laughter floats like melodies, a symphony all aglow.

We point with wide-eyed wonder, as children's voices rise in glee,

In this season's magic, we find pure harmony.

Hand in hand, we share the joy, our spirits intertwined,

In every glance, a memory, a treasure we will find.

With every step, the evening calls; oh, how the moments play,
