Queen of the Nile

Queen of the Nile caress me in the silent of your love and bring me out of the darkness.

Shine that light of passion and serenity upon me.

Show me that love can be a magical feeling for you and me and guide me through those dark and lonely nights.

Queens of the Nile embrace me and feel my love.

Love once had me in a bind was it the fact that she was blind

Not being able to see she led me astray

She took my fine wine not having in mind that what she had was no cheap glass of wine

She sipped and spat me out as if she knew what she was doing

Now she is wondering

Why her people stared ooooing

She had no clue of what she was doing

Now the taste stays stuck to her lips

Reminding her of that great pleasure she tried to dismiss

She is now sitting alone studying my book

Trying to find the answers to what she done wrong but it is too late because the good stuff has moved on

To a place far, far away where there are wine tasters that are more experienced that enjoys the taste

I guarantee they will not need my book

Just one taste and they will know that the good stuff is always hidden from the light.

This poem is about my heart and how the women of my past didn’t know that they had a good man no matter how hard I tried to show them that my love is real and it is not too good to be true!

Know Me Then Love Me

Know me for who I am and not for what you hear

Know me as I am and understand me

For what I feel for you is always real

Know me to love and respect you

And know me to be honest to you

Once you have known me then love me

Love me the way I love you

Love me only if it is true

Love me in the light of life and not in the darkness of pain

Love me because of me and not what I can or cannot do.

But between you knowing I and loving me learn to trust me.

Love Will Find Me

Love will find me no matter what I do.

Love will find me walking down the street in the middle of the day or late in the evening.

Love will find me I hope soon.

Love will find me doing something I enjoy

Love will find me in sadness or in joy

But love will find me.

Love will find me no matter what I do.

I just hope love will find you too.

The Woman in My Dreams

Many nights I sit and wonder where you might be

I find myself at times trying to see

Who you are and what you may look like but it’s all a blur to me

In my dreams you are young but wise

You stand like no other woman by far

Your smile is all I see and your voice is sweet and comforting

I find it relaxing and soothing but it seems so far to me

I sit and wonder about you each day.

Finding you is just an adventure but knowing and loving you is a lifetime of joy for me

Eyes Wide Shut

I see you when my eyes are wide shut

You stand there looking as sweet as I can remember

Never thought that we would see each other again

I see you when my eyes are wide shut

The days of long walks with you and your child in the park

I see you when my eyes are wide shut

My eyes are wide shut

That is the only way I can see you

In my mind is where your physical essences live

But in my heart where your soul live.

So until then I sit with my eyes wide shut

But my eyes are shut wide as I search for you until I find you.

That Small Child

Tears flow from her eyes, as on-lookers walk by.

No one showed any concern of why she cry

They just walk on by

Her tears are like giant raindrops.

Her lips quivered her hands shake violently.

Then a small child dressed in your typical children wear walk up to her

He put his hands under her face and catches her tears.

He only caught a few in his soft hand.

She looked up to speak but the child put one finger upon her lips and said to her, "Taste your tears of fear and see how sweet it is, understand that those who show no concern will soon feel as you feel pain and will enjoy what you search for, but in order to do so you must give up those things that cause so much pain only then you will have peace and happiness."

The lady eyes cleared and she was reborn

She blinked and in that instant the child was gone just as fast as he appeared.

The lady stood up and in her face was courage and confidence.

She then went home and got rid of everything that was negative in her life and she began to live for herself. Only then things began to fall in place for her.

She thought she lost everything that day until she met that small child that showed her that there is Life after Death.

Endless Nights

Endless night I lay awake hoping and praying that you come my way

With all this love that I have inside I feel like my life is wasting away

Wanting to share my love with you I find myself in search for you

Endless night I lay awake hoping and praying that you come my way

Endless night why lead me astray on this journey for the one I seek

Endless night why torment me for I am just a ordinary man looking for my one true love

Endless night how I wish you’d bring me sunshine

So Endless night when my love arrives I will embrace her and welcome you so that I can shower her with love in your endless time
