My Big Red Bus

Colour me Red

By Elaine BeaudroPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The bustling city, the noise and the rush

Driving round London in my red bus

The passengers jumping off and on

Show me their tickets and move along

Some of the regulars know my name

As my route through the day is always the same

From Croydon to Trafalgar Square

Stop a while when I get there

Big Ben strikes, now turn around

Time to head back to familiar ground

Two more runs then my day is done

And I can look forward to going home

Early next morning I'm ready once more

Uniform on, I head out of the door

Off to the depot, a new day begins

Here I come passengers - ding a ling ling !
