My Best Friend
Without you I would be no more
Whenever things aren’t as they seem
You are always there to assist me,
Whenever I’m blue you hold me tight
But then when I need it, let me be.

It’s like you are my ray of sunshine
A glorious flower in the snow,
You are the peace in every argument
And my own clown in every show.

You are my very special angel with wings
The biggest spark within my heart,
When I’m hurting and not all well
That’s when your healing love will start.

Without you in my life I’d be no more
An empty soul full of nothing but tears,
I’m lucky to have your friendship and love
To help me drive away all my fears.

You ask of me to laugh and smile
And your words of love are true,
My love for you is strong and clear
As my heart will always belong to you.
