She glides unfettered tween every world I dream
Hidden, but not hiding, softly singing to me
Summoning my mind’s eye as I languish to sleep
Conducting her rhythm on my tender heart strings

Silky notes slide from her insatiable essence
And every beat pulses with blind imperceptance
Immersing me wholly in her aural fragrance
Softheartedly nurtured as she feeds every sense

We float under moonlight, just like in a poem
Together, this life amongst the stars we can comb
She smiles at my soul and gently pushes me home
“Not today, little one, in other dreams will we roam”

Mild awareness unravels my arcane dreamscape
As I realize its ending and erupt in heartache
Caught between worlds I reach out in vain
To remember the face of my dreams as it fades
