Elton in his creative exhuberance exclaimed against the sun's demise

Cold is the night when a sky full of stars are at play, as the stars of the show take the stage

looking as we must, as the sun disappears behind its celestial partner

it's only a paper moon shadowing it all

patterns and sequences, eclipsical occurences, all you touch, see, taste, feel, love and hate

Springsteen calls you to the dancefloor for lunar dance and romance

Ella reminds us it's just a paper moon and soon the sun will reappear

Stretched thin enough, aren't all things eventually just paper? Stretched but a bit further, do they not evanesce? (You knew I'd manage to work that in somehow.) And cannot anything eclipse another if their positions are sufficiently relative?

Great one, Paul. You worked a lot into this, and it was so creative and unique for the challenge!🎶

Is there a “for dummies” bit at the end? 😅 Great idea- just wish my music knowledge was better.

"looking as we must, as the sun disappears behind its celestial partner" Ah, the romance! I just can't help but love the language of poetry when it's written about the sun and the moon. <3

  • Sir Paul, I know nothing about any references 😅 All I know is that paper moon reminded me of Melissa's book, The Half Paper Moon hehehe. Loved your Paulitical Acrostic!

  • It’s only a paper moon I especially love this 🥹🥹🥹✨
