The Harmony of Nature

There once was a plant with a voice,

Whose music was nothing to rejoice.

For though it sang sweet as can be,

It wasn't quite what you'd expect to see.

This plant had leaves of booger green,

And its flowers would remind you of a horrible dream.

But when the wind blew just right,

It burst into song with all its might.

At first, folks thought it was absurd,

A plant that could sing and be heard?

But soon they discovered with glee,

That the plant was a musical prodigy.

It played tunes both old and new,

Its melodies were captivating and true.

The students of the nearby college,

Were surprised to hear of this knowledge.

They gathered 'round the plant each day,

To hear it play in its own unique way.

And though it never spoke a word,

Its music was magical to all who heard.

The professors and scientists, they tried,

To understand what they heard and sighted.

They took samples and made a study,

But the plant's talents remained a mystery.

So the students and staff, they did decide,

To hold a grand concert, open far and wide.

And the talking plant was the star,

And its music shined brighter than any star.

And though its existence was quite strange,

It was loved by all and had a lasting change,

For it showed the world that beauty can be found,

In the most unusual places, on the ground.

So if you're ever near that college town,

And hear a sweet melody all around,

Just follow the sound, you won't regret it,

For the talking plant is a true musical hit.
