Music is the symphony that we live and breathe
Its overture; the intricate opera of our lives
Music’s rhythm connects us and it can move us, changing on many scales
It can take us to a crescendo of joy or comfort us in the flats of despair
Music brings harmony and rest when there is anarchy
And it can bring joy to our peace
Music’s ballad is pure soul that touches our very core
An ensemble of culture, identity and faith
Music brings memories both good and bad but it’s notes can feed our spirit
This, it can strike a chord in any tempo
Music brings us together as it’s melody weaves in and through us
Connecting us no matter our pitch
Music touches you differently to how it touches me
But it sings it’s tune regardless
Music is the key to freeing our thoughts and dreams
So let us waltz together as we create our opus.

Wild Card Weekend Recap: What Happens Now?
I think I figured out why I love Wild Card Weekend so much. It's because it's the first playoff anything of the calendar year. The NFL season starts in the fall, and once upon a time, the champion was crowned either on or slightly before New Year's. The evolution of the NFL schedule has resulted in the playoffs starting just into the New Year, and currently, the final week of the season falls on the first weekend of the New Year, with Wild Card Weekend coming a week after that. So yes, chronologically, the NFL's Wild Card Weekend serves as the first playoff anything of the calendar year.
