Each piece of art reflects both the past and the future

In the same way as repairing a damaged clock and then startingit at midnight would be absurd
Previous generations’ wisdom is sought for
What they went through in love, what they did on their journeys
They met their true love in a dream
They picked the correct one out of a large pool of candidates
Newly planted trees are what we’re after
The throne in the centre of our hearts is vacant, and we seek therightful occupant
That’s how things have always been
One of the many ways in which life puts us to the test
A gateway along the path we go
Despite progress, there is still a long way to go
Maintaining forward progress is essential
Make the most of the chances life gives you
It’s the same no matter where we go
A museum of the past may be found everywhere
Unless we ignore their monuments and mirrors
Nothing about the future is visible to us at this time
To find our path forward, we must first examine our past
