My heart is heavy right now

You used to be called Bunny Park

Because there is a large family of bunnies

Living among your beautiful greens.

Now you are the Murder Park

because of that horrible tragedy.

I was walking my dog as I usually do

But this time I saw it sitting there

A memorial just for you.

24 years old when you lost your life

And the craziest part,

A 14 year old

holding the knife.

What is this world?

I feel like humans are a sickness to the earth

Staining its green grasses red.

I didn't even know you but,

It makes my heart hurt for you

Gone too soon.
