As a deer, let Mum answer my call now, now that nothing's left,

I plead with Mother Earth to talk to me back,

She needs to know that I have no deft,

She needs to know that people are on the wrong track.

They are killing many like me,

They do it intentionally, for fun and we beg to survive,

And I know it's not fair, it's been ages since glee,

For they don't realize that we can't revive.

They don't realize how much they devour and take,

They'll take my hope before me,

Hear me out for my bliss, for my sake,

They'll take my world before me, you will see.

I want people to feel mercy,

For the lush, blankets of grass,

For the life they do not know, tiny as a pixie,

I know only you can hear me out, alas.

The people are making me suffer and die,

As I said, empathy and compassion, they do not give,

They want to live in a world with just them,'sigh',

Please, Mum, Tell Them I Want To Live.
