What else is wood used for? To make pencils, to make furniture, to build houses, etc. Be a wood. Be multi-purposeful. Think of all the ways you can provide shelter, warmth, and joyfulness. Let people be at peace around you. Be buildable, meaning be teachable. Don't let them burn you like a piece of wood though. Don’t get misused or abused. You are the most expensive and unique type of wood. You should be cherished.

Christmas Tree
Christmas tree curbside done with living room season waiting for trash truck. I don't even put a Christmas tree in the living room. But when I see the trees on the curb, near the trash bin, waiting for pickup, it makes me sad. Maybe I see a metaphor in it, the way it is discarded when the season is over.
